Alexandre Khairallah

Dr. Alexandre Khairallah earned his Bachelor in Dental Surgery and his Postgraduate Diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Lebanese University Faculty of Dental Medicine. He is former Head of Service of Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging Department Lebanese University.

He is a fellow of the European Academy of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Radiologists and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Khairallah is a member of the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. He is a Key/Opinion Leader at Carestream Near East - Dental division, and has lectured internationally to general and specialist dental audiences.

He maintains private practice in Beirut.

Lecture title: Radiopacities from the Incidental Finding to the Real Pathologies

Lecture Abstract:Radiopacities found on X rays are usually a pathognomonic sign of pathologies but sometimes they are only incidental findings. The differential diagnosis of these radiopacities will differ according to their place, relation with teeth and radiological characteristics.
In this presentation, a series of clinical cases of radiopacities and their differential diagnosis will be discussed interactively.
