Professor and Director, Division of Operative and Esthetic Dentistry, Beirut Arab University


Dr Ragab received her Bachelor degree of Science in Oral and Dental Medicine (BDSc) in 1989 from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. She gained a Diploma in Conservative Dentistry in 1992 from the same university. She pursued her Master Degree of Science in Restorative Dentistry in 2002 from Cairo University and obtained the Doctorate Degree of Science (DDSc) in Operative and Esthetics in 2008 from the same University.

Currently she is a Professor and the Director of Operative and Esthetic Division of the Beirut Arab University, Beirut-Lebanon since 2012, and the Coordinator of Advanced General Dentistry Program since 2013. She is also a Member of several committees a the BAU. Dr. Ragab is a member of the International Association of Dental Research (IADR), the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) since 2013 and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) since 2014.


Lecture title: Does Digital Technology Improve Today’s Clinical Practice in Smile Makeover Cases?

Lecture abstract: This presentation will discuss the benefits of integration of digital technology when planning a smile makeover case. Three workflows will be discussed, the analogue and the digital and the hybrid approach and how digital integration made it possible to be more conservative, save time and gives more predictable results.
