Dr. Rayyan is an Associate Professor in Fixed Prosthodontics at Beirut Arab University. He is Director of both Prosthodontics division and Research unit as well as Coordinator of In-house Dental Lab. He is a Member of American Academy for Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and International Association for Dental Research (IADR). He is the founder and director of “Train the Trainers” program.

Dr. Rayyan is an author and co-author of 28 publications in national and international journals, as well as a member in Editorial Board of International Journal of Experimental Sciences, Journal of Oral and Dental research and Journal of Dental Science, Oral & Maxillofacial Research. He also has 3 inventions in prosthodontics carrying his name.


Lecture title: Digitally Driven Prosthetic Restorations

Lecture abstract: Digital dentistry offered lots of advantages to the prosthetic dentistry. Speed, precision and predictable outcomes were among the fruits of computer aided dentistry. Nowadays the bar of digital dentistry has risen few more notches. Where predicable results encouraged dental scientists to apply the concept of reverse engineering to dental prosthesis.
